A teacher-led practice in the heart of Glasgow.
Twenty minutes, twice a day — that's all it takes.
Transcendental Meditation is not concentration. It is not contemplation. You are not trying to clear your mind or control your thoughts.
You sit comfortably, close your eyes, and use a sound given to you by your teacher. The mind settles — effortlessly, on its own. No experience needed. No beliefs required.
Twenty minutes, twice a day. That's the whole practice.
Come to a free intro talk →Transcendental Meditation was brought to the West in the late 1950s by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Drawing from the ancient Vedic tradition of India, Maharishi distilled the technique into a simple, standardised form — one that could be taught to anyone, anywhere.
In fifty years of teaching, Maharishi trained thousands of teachers across the world. The technique has remained unchanged — what you learn in Glasgow today is exactly what was taught in the 1960s.
Over 600 scientific studies have since validated the benefits of the practice, conducted at more than 250 independent universities and research institutions worldwide.

I am a TM teacher, AyurVeda consultant and Marma Therapist currently living in Glasgow, Scotland. When I'm not teaching TM, I love getting out for walks and exploring the Highlands. I'm also a freelance fundraising consultant, working for the David Lynch Foundation UK – a charity which offers TM to groups who have experienced traumatic stress.
